Engaged Sweeper II
In Configuration\Asset Groups, at the top there is the information line:

IP Locations can be used to give your IP ranges and VLANs a unique name in reports and widgets.

It is obvious from the page how to add location names to IP ranges but how do you add a custom name to a VLAN??

The description on this page assumes that your VLANs all have unique IP ranges. By entering the IP range of a VLAN and providing the name of it, Lansweeper will display the VLAN name on asset pages and asset overview lists. If you would like to add the IP location to a custom report as well, you can do so by following the instructions on this page.
