Hello Community!

My web interface is not loading correctly. The helpdesk is functioning since emails are being received and tickets are being created, but we cannot open the dashboard page.

I noticed backups of the SQL databases were failing, so I checked the VSS writers as it indicated that was the issue.  It took forever to list them. I ran a SQL update and rebooted. Now I get the attached screenshot when we try to open the dashboard. I opened a support ticket (10/3/2024 12:27PM EST), received a response 3 hours later to confirm SQL connection.  It was previously connected to SQL and nothing changed. I've not heard anything back from support and the dashboard is still not loading.

Hi, 

 

The error message "A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server" indicates a problem with the connection between the application or service and the SQL Server database. There are some troubleshooting steps in this article. This is something that looks to be environmental and or related to the Web Service. If the tickets are still being created, then the Lansweeper service is still working. Checking the event viewer might show some issues with the web service.
