what it reports as the software....

Where can I verify what executable it is reporting on as a specific software. I want to know what location and what filename it is reporting.

We scan software out of the registry and not from the executable we find on an asset. We try to recreate the add remove programs feature of windows. If the software is listed here then we will scan it.
