Printer: Black pages printed only (exclude color pages printed)

Is there a way in Lansweeper to report on printer pages printed for only black pages printed excluding color copies?

For instance:

Lansweeper states 60000 pages printed by a printer, but in reality on 28k have been black print outs.

We have a vendor who charges per page on black toner. We would like to run reports through Lansweeper to verify their invoices each month.

I have pasted our current report below. It only offers the option to have total pages printed. For our color printers this is difficult as the page count is totaled and displayed in Lansweeper.

With Custom OID scanning, if you're printer returns the information, you can now scan it in Lansweeper 7!

Please can you add a table/report where I can see the printed pages in black/white and in colour for every day and month?

Please add us to this list. Many of us in large organizations have printers under service maintenance contracts. Usually B&W pages are estimated as "an included amount of pages". Overages and color pages cost extra... and some times A LOT extra. This month we are paying over $3,000 this month due to overages. It would be really nice if LanSweeper would not only track the difference between B&W and Color pages, but report on it with total counts for each. Please keep us apprised of any change regarding this feature request. Thank you.

Also along with this, some how tracking the per month and per year counts for both color and black and white.

Add us to the list. Very interested in this feature for the same reason.

Maybe one way to make this work would be to have two more values for Printer Counts Color/Black.

Then have the ability to allow us to update the OID for a particular printer make/model that would be used scan for these values.



One thing I want to eventually do, is compare printers provided and maintained by our vendors and those maintained internally and correlate with the cost of our staffs time vs. outsourcing. Sometimes management makes discussions and change their mind later not realizing why we went this direction in the first place.

Basically we could probably come up with a cost per page comparison both color and black and white.
