Hi guys,
I gave installed Lansweeper on a development server and I have it working perfectly. The problem I have is that when I try to access the web console from a desktop the tools on the Action Screen are not working. Ping, trace, computer management, etc does not work (again, they work fine on the server). Is there something I'm missing here? I don;t believe it has anything to do with any GPO's I have on the Active Directory because I took a desktop stuck in with the servers and am getting the same problems.

Do you get a javascript error on the page?
Then it's probably the activex security settings.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have tried doing that on the desktop PC and it still didn't work. I have put the Desktop PC in the server OU in AD just to make sure that it is getting the same GPO's just in case but it still doesn;t work. Maybe there is a GPO that is specific to the W2K3 OS.

Anyways, as long as I know it is supposed to work, that is good enough for me. I will figure it out eventually. Thanks for your help!

See the documentation : They only work in internet explorer and you have to change your internet explorer security settings.
