We have a need to have multpile (2) seperate lansweeper databases to reside in the same SQL Server instance. One will server for gathering server info while the other is setup to gather workstation info. Two different groups will be using each one. Is ther a way to configure lansweeper to use a database named something other than lansweeper? If so what about the lansweeperuser account?

What you want is not possible on one instance.

The lansweeper database must be named "lansweeperdb", so this is not possible.
You can create 2 separate SQL instances on the same server and create the databases there.
