Engaged Sweeper
Hi all.

I've been using LANSweeper for a few months and am overall very pleased with the product. So much so, that we immediately bought the Premium license and started using this tool in all our sites worldwide.

I am having a problem though. Recently we started using the custom fields to keep track of purchase order numbers, ship dates, warranty dates, etc. Every custom field works perfectly fine, only the date fields seem to refuse to save.

I'll fill them out, for example ship date and warranty date, along with the Custom 1 field which we use to track our internal PO number. When I it save changes, I'll get a confirmation next to the button, saying Updated. If I then browse to a different tab and go back to the custom fields, the dates have disappeared, yet the other changes are still there.

I'm running LANSweeper version 3.5.2.4.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem was indeed down to the short and long date settings being different on the lansweeper server and the sql server. Once I changed the settings in Control Panel, Regional Settings, and updated the short and long date registry values for all SIDs under HKEY_USERS\SID\Control Panel\International, the dates saved fine.

Thank you for a very fast and effective response. Much appreciated.
