I want to enable the email alert for Event Log under Lansweeper, but I am afraid I might get flooded with emails.

For example, when there's a disk failure, Windows logs event 52 into the Event Viewer almost one for every second, I don't want to receive 3,600 emails per hour.

How ofter does the system send out alerts? Does it send one for each event? Can I set it to only send 1 email per hour?

Thank you!

Can you tell me which table to look for this event?

You can create a custom report for these alerts and enable report mailing.
Reports are mailed once a day.

I have set up alert for any disk error 7 (the device \device\harddiskX, has a bad block) which is helpful to be proactive before a disk failure. However Lansweeper sends an email for each event. Now I got over 100 emails before as you know disk error fill up the eventlog. How can I set up a event alert once a hour (or similar) to summary the alerts? Or reduce the number of alerts?

HELP!

The system will send out an e-mail as soon as the scanning engine scans the computer with the defined filter.
