Engaged Sweeper
Hi there!

When I initially installed Lansweeper, it was under a domain admin account and accessing the DB / Lansweeper Configuration was done using integrated authentication.

Now that we've been growing in size, I want to give a few people access to the DB / configuration using their own AD credentials so I stop using the domain admin account (better practice).

As I'm far from being a SQL expert, could somebody point me in the right direction to do that?

Thanks in advance!

Nico

It might be easier to log in with SQL credentials and the built-in lansweeperuser SQL user. This is the user used by both your Lansweeper service and website to access the database.

Username: lansweeperuser
Default password: mysecretpassword0*

If the password was changed at some point, it should have been updated in the configuration files below as well, found on your Lansweeper server.

Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service\Lansweeperservice.exe.config
Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Website\web.config
