Hi,
I have a report set up to try keep a history of physical Hard Disks so if they are swapped out, we can tell from their Serial Numbers.
The only problem is, that the Serial number is displayed in a reverse pairing
So if I check the lable on the physical disk, or if I run a wmic command the Serial number will display as
S1DBYGZC
But in Lansweeper report, each pair of characters has been reversed so it displays as
1SBDGYCZ
I've attached a screenshot of Lansweeper report result and a wmic command prompt result as an example
Very strange, any help much appreciated here.
