LANSweeper Service Issue

Support,

For some reason the LANSweper Service seems to have disappeared from my services.msc console. I have run the installer again and installed pure the service after clicking on new install the installation gets part way through and then I get the attached error. All permissions on the drive are set correctly and the installation is being run whilst logged in as an administrator.

Please Advise.

Most likely you (or someone else) is still running lsmanage.exe

Hi,

I got the same issue and selected Ignore on the error for lsmanage.exe. On of my collegues was running lsmanage at the time of the upgrade.

When I tried to run setup again, the only option I have was to make a new 4.0 installation and loose my existing database. Upgrade was grayed out.

Is there a way to install the new version of lsmanage.exe manually ?
