Hi there,
Just upgraded to v. 4.0, and am happy with the overall improvements.
I do have a problem, though, with the search bar in the top section of the main window (where it says "search the Lansweeper database")
Are there any requirements in terms of syntax/semantics for entering search strings? No matter what I enter (users, pcs, etc...) it shows "Results for search "what-ever-search-string" - 0 items found.
I have verified and validated that the strings actually do exist in the database, and also shows up in relevant reports.
?
Brgds. Henrik

You seem to be the only one with this problem.
Are all other pages working fine?
Can you try manually to surf to page "autosuggest.aspx?q=a"
Replace "a" by what you are searching for.
It should produce XML

I have tried with Internet Explorer (v. 8.0.7600.16385), and Firefox (v. 3.6.3) - both on a PC running Windows 7
I have tried with Internet Explorer (v. 6.0.2900.218) on a PC running Windows XP, and finally with Internet Explorer (v. 8.0.6001.18702) on a Windows Server 2003 (Lansweeper-server)
There is no indication of Java error in any of the browser instances.
Maybe a Web-server issue? We're running Lansweeper off IIS (v. 6.0)

Nope - no dropdown shows up (nor any other indication of type-ahead assistance)

Which browser version do you have.
Do you see any signs of javascript errors?
