Are there any plans to make report building easier? I was trying to come up with an overall inventory and do not get the table classifications at all. Is there an easier way to figure out what is a desktop, server, printer, router etc etc. There should be an easier way to select and view a list of all hardware. I understand the classifications, but what good is an inventory package if I cannot get my data out easily.

Easiest to know which fields to use is to look at the reports already build-in.
If you need a specific report, you can post it in the reports section of the forum.
