Reverse lookup failed

Hello ,

when a Laptop is connected to the LAN with Cable and Wireless connection , I've got this error :

Reverse lookup failed

The reverse lookup works well ( ping -a ) but obiouvsly the two network adapters ( cable & wireless ) have different IP Numbers , for the same PC.

How can we avoid this error ?

Ok , I changed the binding order of the newtwor cards : first LAN card , then Wireless.

It seems to work now , no more Error in Lansweeper.

On the workstation you can change the binding order (priority) of the network cards.
start/settings/network connections/advanced/advanced settings

This would work, but if the DNS server is not configured correctly you will get problems.
Connecting to the IP makes sure that you are connecting to the computer where lsclient was run.

When the lsclient connects to the server, which network card does it use?
The server will get an incoming IP address, and then it will try to reverse resolve it.
Make sure you are connecting to the service with the same IP as your reverse IP points to.
