I am using the free version to evaluate the software. I have managed to do my inventory using psexec without any issues.
However if I was to update a piece of software to a higher version and then manually execute lsclient on that host, when I look at the web console it is still showing the original version.
Any ideas?
Regards

OK, so if I am using the free version and want to initiate a scan for all machines in my domain every X days, how do I do that without adding every machine to the schedule scanning options page?

Initiating a scan is not possible (unless you use the psexec workaround)
Just adding lsclient to the loginscript should do the trick.

I have looked at the waitime for "software" and can only set it to 1 day as the minimum.
I thought that manually forcing a scan should populate it with new data.

If you use the premium lstrigger tool it's forced updated, otherwise the waiting time is used.
1 day = 24 hours.

Take a look at the documentation, your answer has probably to do with the "waittime"
