Engaged Sweeper
Hi,

I just installed version 3.5 and had no errors during install.
The webservice is available (without any systems in it yet).

But the lansweeper server is not started. When i try to start it, i receive following message:
---------------------------
Services
---------------------------
The Lansweeper Server service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I do not find an errorlog in the service folder or in the event viewer.
This is my install log:

Joachim,

Did the installer warned you when you entered the username/password?

i changed the login of the service to the actual domain administrator, this seems to work. Strange thing, since the user i used before was in an systemaccounts group, that is in turn in the domain admins group...

I just changed the user rights to the lansweeper install folder and now i see following information in the errorlog

24/03/2009 17:23:02: Database connection successful, starting up service

24/03/2009 17:23:02: Access is denied
at System.Net.HttpListener.AddAll()
at System.Net.HttpListener.Start()
at LansweeperService.Listen.DoListen()
at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart_Context(Object state)
at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state)
at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart()

Then the service stops again
