Hi,

For some reason i am unable to get the event viwer information to update for my users. I have been into the config and setup scanning setup- scanning servers - scheduled eventlog scanning. and set this to 20minutes but my pc's are not reporting any user info since friday.
Can anyone offer advice regarding this as i need to be able to trace when some users were accessing what pc.

I suggest upgrading to the latest version, it fixes some problems with date formats in eventlog scanning.

Wait time is set to 0 for the event log

We are using version 4.0.0.42 of lansweeper, the newer version came out after we had upgraded to this version.

A majority of the pc's are windows xp with some w7

Waittime should be a number (most likely "0" for eventlog)

Which is the version number for lansweeperservice.exe?
Note that eventlog scanning is not supported on windows 2000.

the wait time is 07/03/2011 07:58:11 which is still more than the 20minutes it should be set to. Also i have no idea on what pc the user has been on so my aim is to track that information down from teh lansweeper info.

On the action screen of the computer you can click open the "wait times" at the bottom.
Can you verify the last scan date of the eventlog item.
