Hello All,
I'm new in lansweeper. Till we used the free version I could search lot of domain users. When the user logged in the exe file started and sent info to the server. It worked fine.
Last week I talked over my boss and we bought the premium version. I've reinstalled the lansweeper and activated the premium version.
Now the AD scanning is running. I have more the 200 computers but the number of users limited (just 10 % of computers)
What can be the problem? I'm not domain admin just OU ! This can be the reason ?
Thanks for your help
Zoltan

With active scanning, the logged on user is scanned at the time of the scan.
If you need a more detailed tracking you will also need to use lsclient.

You have to make sure that your account has read access on active directory on the domaincontrollers.

Hello,
This is the error message:
12/14/2009 2:48:26 PM: System.DirectoryServices.Protocols.LdapDirectoryIdentifier The LDAP server is unavailable.
Is there any other way to use AD scanning if the lansweeper account is not possible to be domain admin ?
Thanks
Zoltan

Do you see any errors in the errorlog.txt file regarding user lookup?
