Hello Lansweeper,
I need some help uninstalling 7zip from 30 computers. When I try to run the Lansweeper uninstaller I receive the message, "YOU ARE TRYING TO UNINSTALL A NON-MSI SOFTWARE PACKAGE." NON-MSI PACKAGES CANNOT BE UNINSTALLED WITHOUT ADDITIONAL PARAMETERS."
Would love some help with solving this issue.
Best Regards,
-Nelson.

A basic uninstaller deployment worked for me using the command "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\Uninstall.exe" /S
Maybe it is just not working on the remote uninstaller.

I have only ever used the web console and have not seen that error myself. I can do some testing on my end to see if I have any issue sending commands to uninstall it.

Have you tried using the parameter /S
(capitalization matters on this one so I heard)

Hi Sean,
Yes, even with the "/S" parameter, it does not work. Btw, I'm using the "Lansweeper -remote uninstaller Software" standalone program, does it function a lot better when it's been done from the lansweeper web console?
