When scanning software, we mainly try scanning it, as it is listed in add/remove programs.
What is visible there should also be visible in Lansweeper. To do that, we scan several registry locations to get the necessary information.
If your asset was rescanned recently then the latest information should be also present. Note that there can be delay as well if your scan item interval for software is set to a number of days. A manual rescan, should scan the device completely though.
