BI Dashboard - Slicer Filter

HI

I'm trying to create a new BI dashbaord and have added a slicer filter. How do you add a measure to it? The Asset Type slicer filter on the pre-built dashboard has this but cannot see an option when I add a new one to the board I am creating.
