Hi,
When I try to install Lansweeper to my SQL Express 2017 server, do I get a "[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials()).]SSL Security error" error, when the Lansweeper installer is trying to connect to the SQL server.
Anybody that has any clue about why? (I have already tried almost everything I could find on Google, without luck)
The server is a newly installed Windows 2012R2 and the SQL is a clean SQL Express 2017.
Br,
Morten

These functionalities include SQL connections performed by the installer and certain warranty scanning connections. We do plan to have a Lansweeper version out soon that will be fully functional with TLS 1.0 disabled.
For now, when installing Lansweeper we recommend the following:
For now, when installing Lansweeper we recommend the following:
- - Enable TLS 1.0 on your database server and scanning server(s).
- Reboot any machine on which you enabled TLS 1.0 to apply the change.
- Install your Lansweeper installation, more details can be found here: https://www.lansweeper.com/kb/100/installing-lansweeper.html
