I've noticed that in all the updates on Lansweeper, there hasn't been any news on the helpdesk. Currently, the Lansweeper Cloud site does not have the helpdesk found in the on-prem version. My org fully committed to Lansweeper because of its helpdesk, especially with how it integrates so well with AD user data and asset information.

If everything is going to be cloud based soon, will the helpdesk be ported over along with everything else?

There are currently no plans to remove the helpdesk module from the Lansweeper on-prem installation.

This is very unfortunate, as we too have committed to Lansweeper's helpdesk. Is there a place to suggest/vote/encourage its addition to Cloud?

Helpdesk works really well for us, and its only real drawback is that it's accessible on-prem only. Is there a way to securely provide Internet-based access to Helpdesk? If not, what third-party applicaiton do you recommend that FULLY integrates with Lansweeper?

We currently have integrations for a help desk solution in our Lansweeper Cloud. We have integrations built out for you to use for Jira, Fresh Service and Mint. You can find more information in your Market place tab in your Lansweeper site. You can also see this link Lansweeper Integrates with your Tech Stack - Lansweeper Integrations.

Please reach out to your Account Manager, they would be happy to get on a call and discuss this further for your specific use case.

would love to see a freshservice asset sync instead of an app that does a lookup to lansweeper from freshservice. looks like you have a CI sync tool for servicenow

We use a reverse proxy to make our Lansweeper helpdesk website accessible to the internet. There's a tad bit of extra latency, but it does the job.

Unfortunately, we do not have instructions on how to securely provide internet-based access to the Lansweeper helpdesk, nor are we aware of any third-party applications that would achieve this.
