Lansweeper service failing on start after upgrade

SQL Error: Cannot connect to database.
The ConnectionString property has not been initialized.

Getting this error when trying to access website, when I go to the config editor the settings seem to have been partially wiped. When I try and update them I get this error 

Error while encrypting and saving the connectionstring. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 

The settings don't save and when I close the config editor I get an error saying "Error while closing the Lansweeper Config Editor. The config file may have been edited manually while this tool was opened. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Just a tiny update. We did ask our community manager to remove your logs. While we love a well-documented forum post, your logs contain sensitive data like IP addresses and server names, which you might not want to expose on a public forum like this.

However, this sounds like a corrupt ini file, and you might be able to resolve it by re-installing your web console as this generates a new ini file: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/troubleshooting-your/reinstalling-the-web-console/ta-p/64295
