Engaged Sweeper II

We are fairly new to Lansweeper. In fact I have very little knowledge of Lansweeper and trying to learn it all.

A problem we are currently running into, is certain assets will not display the last user but others on the same network will display without issue.

Anyone else run into this before?

The Last Seen User widget gets its information from the last scan attempt data. This means it includes assets that have had recent scan attempts, regardless of whether the scan was successful or not. When the scan is not successful, it will report the user as "unknown"

What would be some common known issues that would cause a scan to not be successful? We are a college with a large network. IT-Agent does resolve the issue but we are trying to avoid using an agent as much as possible on non-portable technology.

The two most common errors we are seeing is "RPC Unavailable" and "No valid credentials found"

These errors will have another cause. Please have a look at the KB article below to solve these scanning errors:

The RPC server is unavailable. 0x800706BA - Lansweeper

Create and map scanning credentials - Lansweeper

Thank y'all for the help!
