Hi Lansweeper Community,
We are in the process of migrating our application and web server to a new server OS.
I am trying to find documentation on how to move all configuration settings (including web page configuration, scheduled deployments and anything that isn't included in the database) to that new server.
I made sure to follow bits and pieces from these references, successfully moved the scanning configuration and copied any custom PackageShare data over too.

Since we plan to deprecate our current server, I am concerned that I have missed something. Is there a checklist reference that I overlooked which encompasses copying over all [non-database] settings safely so I can double check? As well as, is there a safe uninstall procedure I can follow for our old server?
Also wanted to ask; during this process, we find that incorporating multiple scanning servers is very appealing——especially since we have an Ultimate license. Would it be more efficient scanning our remote office inventory from a server that is at that remote location to eliminate a lot of WMI traffic across our WAN connection? We thought it may be a good idea. However we were wondering if this would be worth it since there might still be a lot of traffic sent back across the WAN to the DB. Would it make much of a difference?

Thanks very much,
Daniel
