It seems, after some number of notifications, the notification list becomes unable to clear individual notifications. Thus, I was forced to "Clear All". I noticed this issue when the notification list got near 100 (maybe 70-80?).  Once I "Cleared All" the ability to close individual notifications came back.

What is the limit?

Can it be raised?

We just had this problem too. The issue with us was that the username in one of the notifications was way too long to fit in the width of the notification box. This resulted in the clear button (x) to disappear behind other layers, and thus invisible. @ErikT Maybe the username can be cropped in the notification box, so that it doesn't create this issue?

I suppose this could have been my issue as well. I will monitor this and see if it happens again. If so, I will take screen shots and research it in more detail.

Can you share which notifications list you are referencing: Cloud or on-prem? can you share a screenshot?

On-Prem.

The attached image shows what it looks like when the list is small and functional.

It seems when tise list gets lengthy, the vertical scrollbar shifts inward and causes the "X" to no longer be visible and thus "unclickable".
