Engaged Sweeper
Hello,
I have problems to scan properly an HP Procurve J9028B
When I login with a webbrowser then I only have to fill in the password.
An username is not available.

I want to make a SSH-credential, but the username is required.
How can I scan the switch?

We also have Cisco switches, but here I have no problems because these switches require an username and password.

Thank you in advance for any assistence.

The best method if scanning network devices is by using SNMP. Double check your switches have SNMP enabled and double check your SNMP credentials within Lansweeper.

You can also perform a test with devicetester.exe, which can be found in Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Actions on your Lansweeper server. Perform the test from your Lansweeper server to the problem machine, submit any relevant (SNMP or SSH) credentials and show us the entire test window.
