I was wondering if there is a possible feature on the helpdesk that allows agents to close out tickets silently so users on the ticket do not get emailed at all. If there is no feature for this is there a possible method or technique that can be done?

Any help will be appreciated!

You can actually use "ignore ticket" under the actions menu.   It closes the ticket, but doesn't send any notification.

Please create a test ticket of course and use that one to make sure it achieves what you are hoping it does.

Hi Leon,

Lansweeper Helpdesk does not currently support a true “silent close” where a ticket can be closed without sending any notification to ticket participants. Lansweeper does have outgoing email templates that trigger on state changes, you could disable the one to users, however that would affect all state changes.
