When a user creates a new ticket via the Dashboard, they can select the ticket type from a drop-down box.

I can not figure out how this list is sorted, but it's not via htbltickettypes.tickettypeid, alphabetically or otherwise.

Is there any way to get this drop-down box to sort entries alphabetically, or have some method to arrange the order of entries manually?

There is a known issue where currently the ticket type selection drop downs will only sort alphabetically after a web service (IIS) restart. This has been resolved in the release that is currently in beta, and will be our next public release. We've also fixed the sorting of other items in the same release.
