I agree, this should be opt-in. Not opt-out. I do understand your concerns about security, but just point on the issue. Don't push it in my throat - and since, lot of us are paid customers you should ask, not force us.

I must say that Im fairly disappointed in the way Lansweeper is heading.

100% agree here. The clean, distraction-free interface is one of Lansweeper's biggest strengths and one of the top reasons I always recommend it over alternatives like Spiceworks. These notifications are intrusive and unwelcome.
