Hello,
I am trying to create an auto email alert for the user when we change their ticket type to a project. I could not find the setting for this.
My second option was to send an alert when the State is changed to project. This works but it only allows my to select a single ticket type for this alert. This ticket type seems to be the only option for multiple ticket States.
Where are the options to edit this?

Hi, suggest you to investigate about database triggers. That it is the only way to execute an action based on a change of a field.
We had a similar need but the requirement has been postponed.

Dear SJSafeware,
The way alerts are currently set up is based on a schedule. So you can't really trigger an alert based in an event.
You could run the schedule that often to be triggered every few minutes, but this will put a stress on the performance of the application and database, which we don't recommend.

There is a setting that allows me to set an email notification for a state change, why not for a type change?
Additionally, the alert for a state change makes me choose a ticket type after choosing a state. But the list of types are different depending on the sate I am choosing. Where is the setting to control that?
The two screenshots I added show the difference between options depending on the state I choose.
