using https on Lansweeper

hi all,

I am using Lanssweeper. recently I was having an internal audit and one particular point they highlighted is "Lansweeper to be updated to using https".

Can I know this actually means?

You can enable HTTPS for your Lansweeper web console in Configuration\Website Settings.



However, you will have to configure your web server first. To set up SSL for IIS Express you can follow our instructions here: https://www.lansweeper.com/kb/54/How-to-configure-SSL-in-IIS-Express.html

this is a security measurement to ensure data is encrypted.
activation needs to be done on you IIS application server
