How can I change the backgroud color of main page?

There is no file that you can customize to change the background color. Currently, only the header can be customized by navigating to Configuration\Look & Feel

At the moment you can only configure the header, full customization has been asked before and is already on our customer wishlist. I've linked your topic to this feature request.
