I think it would nice if we could set a purely cosmetic name to each IP range on the page: http://server:81/Configuration/ScanningMethods/
Currently we have a dozen ranges that have various schedules, for example the IP range 192.168.30.0 - 192.168.32.254 would be named "Printers" for us.

Development implemented this in the 5.2 beta. See screenshot attached. More info on the 5.2 beta can be found here: http://lansweeper.com/forum/yaf_topics23_Lansweeper-beta.aspx

I second this request. It would be nice to have a name field for IP scanning so you can quickly identify the range by name instead of having to memorize it.

We will add it to our wishlist. But we cannot assure you that these are going to be implemented because we receive so many feature requests that we have to make a selection.
