Rescan option from hover drop down menu

Could we get a Rescan Asset option from the hover drop down menu?
When we place the cursor over an asset, a drop down menu appears with multiple options that can be clicked on. Could we add an option for rescanning the asset? That would be most helpful to me.

I too would like to see this feature added. It is not very efficient to have to go into an assets page to rescan it and then go back to the previous screen. I don't always need to rescan an entire group of machines at once but need to be able to pick and choose which ones to rescan. Adding the option to the hover menu would allow me to do this. TIA

I added your request to the feature to customize the asset pop-up when hovering over an asset.

Do note that you can already quickly rescan an individual or multiple assets from the asset overview page by selecting the asset with the check-box on and using the "Rescan" option in the left hand pane.
