LsAgent can be pushed silently to devices in your network. In theory, any deployment tool can be used to push LsAgent to your devices in your network, however, tools other than the Lansweeper deployment module fall out of the scope of Lansweeper support.

First, make sure that the targeted devices meet the Windows scanning requirements.

Secondly, make sure you are meeting the deployment requirements.

Download the Windows installer from our website or find it in the Client folder of your scanning server installation

Put the installer in the following directory on your Lansweeper server: Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\PackageShare\Installers

Modify the built-in LsAgent for Windows deployment package in the Deployment\Deployments packages tab.

  • If the LsAgent client will report in using a direct server connection, add the FQDN, NetBIOS, or IP of your scanning server.
  • If the LsAgent client will report back using the Cloud relay service, add your unique LsAgent key which can be found in Scanning\Cloud Relay Configuration for using the relay.
You can find all the silent install options here.

Please note that you cannot deploy to your devices using the Cloud relay service, a direct connection is needed to push the software onto the targeted devices.

If you want to push LsAgent for Mac or LsAgent for Linux through infrastructure automation tools for these environments, you can find the silent install options here.
