would it be possible to change what columns are listed under the devices section? For instance, currently when you add printers manually under devices and click the printers hyperlink it takes you to a page that lists the following columns:

Device name:
IP Address:
Device Vendor:
Device Model:
Location:
State:
Date:

I would like to change these columns to one or two of the custom fields listed under the printers that display when you click each printer object

column to be replaced

Add custom fields as a column

You can manually change database object "web40getdevicebytype" (not supported)

It can be found under lansweeperdb\Programmability\Stored Procedures.
We advise against making manual changes to the database though, unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Hi,

I am interested to do the same too.

Can you please let me know where to find this object "web40getdevicebytype"?? I search the entire database and could not locate this object.

Thanks.

are there instructions for editing the database available? Like in the documentation that comes with lansweeper?

No, because we do not support it.
