Am I missing something..

I have upgraded to the pemium verison but think im misisng something..

I have changed the service, restared and it all seems to be ok..

added the line for active scanning...

But nothing sees to have changed... were will these pcs be scanned and displayed?

should there be new tabs in the GUI?

is AD intergration the same as active scanning? dont i need to tell it where the pcs are in the AD?

First you should see the
..date ... Active scanning enabled in the errorlog.txt.

are you sure that you are using the premium lansweeper32.exe service?

Yes, even rebooted the server..

After restartying the service and changing from a 0 to a 1 how quickly would I start seeing pc's ?

So where is the active scanning?

I enable <add key="Activescanning" value="1" /> and it found nothing in 2 days...

using lsclient it works every time...

Although its been 7 days and its not attempted to rescan any of the clients it knows about

This is off because i turned it off... but will i notice a change in the interface if i turn it on.. where will it get the infromation form?

In the premium version the web interface is the same as the free version (except for the Active Directory computer information that's filled in).

The web interface for the pro version is indeed the same (except for the active directory information), only the service and all the extra tools are different (for now)

To enable active scanning you need to change 0 into 1 in this line:

<add key="Activescanning" value="0" />
to
<add key="Activescanning" value="1" />
