Hi,
in the Lansweeper Dashboard we have under high priority many systemes listed with "Services: Automatic update service not running"
However If I have a look on the system itself, Windows Update Service is running.
What causes Lansweeper do report this message?
Best regards
Kurt

You need to look at the waittime of "services" in the configuration tool.

I've noticed, that in table "tblservices" the state of the service "wuauserv" is reported as "Stopped"
So I've deleted one of the Windows 7 computers and initiated a new scan. Now, everything is ok.
It seems, that the service state might be from an initial scan and wasn't updated. How often are the services scanned?

The service with the short name wuauserv is up and running on these systems.
I've noticed, that the error is only reported from Windows 7 systems.
How can we get rid of the error?

The report looks at the service name 'wuauserv', could you check if the service has the same name on your systems. (might be a language issue)
