Engaged Sweeper
Hello,

I have recently migrated to a different server, backing up and restoring. The server that hold the database, I have only upgraded lansweeper by replacing the executables and upgrading the database.
On another server, when I know want to install the service, it connects, but tells me there is no lansweeper database installed. It is however still called Lansweeper32, I am assuming it is looking for Lansweeper35.

I am going to change it to 35 to get the installation to work, and then rename it to Lansweeper.
I always thought the 32 was for 32bit, but now I realize it's for version.

Is it not easier to always user 'Lansweeper' as database name?
Or allow users to select the database aswell during install?

Regards,

Edit: Lansweeper35, or Lansweeper doesn't work. Could you tell me what it is looking for?

What a fast reply!

Thanks alot.

'Lansweeperdb' worked like a charm during installation. I will leave that as is now.

In the latest installer (3.5) this has indeed be changed to lansweeperdb and lansweeperuser

Check the lansweeperservice.exe.config and web.config file.
They contain the connection to the database.
