Currently i am using the 3.2 freeware version and am getting ready to propose getting the premium version to my boss.

However i am having a some issue...I can not get the pictures to show up in the action screen...i renamed all the pictures according to thier Active Directory username.jpg is that correct so far...if so is there something else i am missing.

the other issue is in the action screen again...not all of the users are showing their name under the picture icon, where you can click on the name to take you to thier info...some do and some dont and none of them have pictures.

Any ideas

I have a somewhat related question... I have the picture feature working perfectly as it was intended, only I want to change where Lansweeper looks for it's pictures. I have a file server that currently stores all our Employees' mug shots, and I was wondering if it would be possible to make Lansweeper look into that existing directory. Any help would be great, thanks.

I don't know if you have any IIS knowledge so try at your own risk.
In the file structure you can delete the "userpictures\domainname" folder.
Then in IIS create a virtual directory under the lansweeper website, under the userpictures folder, call it "yourdomainname" and point it to the remote location.

i am just putting them in the folder called...netbios name of your domain...

I take it that is wrong...and i am suppose to create a new folder
so i should put the pictures in a folder outside of this folder

c:\Program Files\lansweeper32\website\userpictures\netbios name of your domain\
c:\Program Files\lansweeper32\website\userpictures\myserver

they should go in myserver which i created right.

You need to create a folder with the name of your netbios windows domain and place the pictures in this folder.
