In the tsysOIDlookup table, we have:
OID = 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.1, Model = HP LaserJet 1022nw

Running device tester against two of my devices, they have that same OID, but are different model printers:

What I seen the device listing as Model for these is what is in the OID database (HP LaserJet 1022nw).

Can you do something like this to populate the devices Model?

First use the SNMP Model field, if empty then
SNMP Description field, if empty then
use the the OID table

With the first beta, I could see most Model types correctly, but a few of my devices only allowed "public" for the get community name. I went through all my devices and changed them to "public". Deleted all the devices, reran the scan using the new community name of "public", and all the devices looked great (that were known).
With the March 2nd beta reinstall, I just get below (I've confirmed my scan settings - spelling, case):

Type Model Vendor
Printer Dell 1815dn Samsung Electronics Co., LTD.
Printer HP Jetdirect Hewlett-Packard
Printer HP Jetdirect Hewlett-Packard

Host Lexmark Optra Lexmark International
Host Lexmark Optra Lexmark International

I had actual model numbers of all the printers...

Could be a problem with snmp timeout or community name wrong.

Was the description changed or blank during the last scan?

There was no changing of settings on the physical devices. Installed the March 2nd beta and that seems to be when the info in device database started to be different (fresh database).

Some of my HP printers were showing the correct printer model number, but now they just show as HP JetDirect in the model field. Ex:

10.5.123.22 Ping OK

SNMP Active

Device scanning seems to have changed for me with the March 2 beta.

For example, with the first beta, for my Dell W5300dn, the Model and Vendor were correct (model = Dell Laser Printer W5300 version 55..., Vendor = Dell).

Now listed for this system: model = Lexmark Optra, Vendor = Lexmark International.

The Dell's have Lexmark internals, true. But the correct desc/vendor was being pulled previously.

Also, these models are now listing as hosts, not printers like before.

The Location, and Display name haven't changed and are correct.

Running 4.0.0.8

Could you post the output of the device tester please.
