Hello
i am using lansweeper v.5079 and we have now installed 100x windows 8 pc's.
i got all information about the pc's, the software is working but i can not receive the monitor serial.
we have some windows 7 installation on the new desktop computers (old software is not running on win8) and here i can see the monitor serial like:
Manufacturer: FUS
Model: B22T-7 LED PG
Serial: YV6Jxxxxxxx
Manufactured: 01/01/2013 00:00:00
so it should no hardware problem, lansweeper and our new fujitsu pc's are working fine.
is there any setting in windows 8 where i can change so i can receive via lansweeper the serial. all monitors are connected via dvi cable!
thank you so much

If the monitor serial isn't displayed/scanned, it most likely isn't stored in the registry. Could you run the following tool on one of your problem machines and review its output: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/monitorinfoview.zip
Most likely it won't be able to retrieve the serial number either.
