I have created several custom tables under the DBO schema of the lansweeperdb database in SQL Server. When adding new reports in Lansweeper, these custom tables are not visible, though the built-in tables can be seen. The lansweeperuser has been mapped to the db_owner role. Could you please advise on how to reference these custom tables in my reports?

Hi,

Lansweeper’s reporting engine only queries data from structures it recognizes within its internal schema. Even though you’ve successfully created your own tables in the dbo schema of the lansweeperdb database and assigned the lansweeperuser as a db_owner, custom SQL objects are not automatically exposed to the web console’s report builder.

Please note that Lansweeper does not provide support for writing or troubleshooting custom database scripts (including adding custom database tables). Modifying the Lansweeper database directly is strongly discouraged, as it can easily compromise the integrity and stability of your installation. Running custom scripts may cause your Lansweeper installation to malfunction or become unstable. If issues arise as a result of such modifications, this will void your warranty, and our support team will not be able to assist in repairing or restoring your installation. For reference, please review our Terms of Use: https://www.lansweeper.com/about/legal/terms-of-use/

To ensure the stability and reliability of your environment, we highly recommend using only the tools and methods officially supported by Lansweeper.
