We have a on-prem lansweeper. Does lansweeper cloud replace the need for a on=prem installation?

So it's more than 3.5 YEARS since this post was made....and the world is going fully cloud-based.  Meanwhile, what I still don't see anywhere is a step-by-step guide on HOW to migrate from Classic Lansweeper On-Prem to solely Lansweeper Cloud/Sites.  We have a "linked" cloud site now, but if we want to shut down all our on-prem servers and don't WANT to run in hybrid mode....while I understand that one CAN have a Hybrid enviornment, our goal is to be 100% cloud hosted, and host nothing onsite....so how do we go about migrating ALL of our historical data for the last 5 years to Lansweeper Cloud/Sites.  How do we go about running JUST a scan engine, and can that be on an Azure server so that it's also in the Cloud?  Can it be on another existing server, or does it need to be dedicated (given the cost of Azure server processors and space)?  Meanwhile, I don't see any instructions or migration script tools on how to do so.

I'd stay far away from cloud services, security matters

Hi,
To scan the network, an on-prem scanning engine will be required.
Viewing assets can be done in cloud, but the actual scanning is always done with an on-prem component at the moment.
