I know this is general, but does anyone else use Lansweeper for M&A work?
I work for a company in their Mergers and Acquisitions division. We have started to use Lansweeper to get a quick snapshot of the new IT infrastructure that is acquired.
I am just looking for any lessons learned or maybe even creative ways to use the application.
Thank you in Advance!

Install a new instance using a temp license and run a regular scan. The temp license only allows 100 assets though I believe, so that could be an issue. If it's an issue set up a scan server that connects to VPN on their network.
Once the integration is completed (assuming you integrate it that is) use your regular license to continue scanning.

Hello JamesWE,
If you want to do a quick scan without the need to set credentials, you can start with Credential Free Device recognition. It will not provide you full details of the devices, but It will provide you a rough idea on the assets you have. More information on this can be found in the article below.
