I have found all the helpdesk attachments stored in the <Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Website\helpdesk\files> directory.

I have also been able to identify which file is related to each ticket using the following SQL query and checking the UID. It even shows the bithash used to encrypt the attachment.

<snip>
Select Top 1000000 htblticket.ticketid As ID,
htblticket.subject,
htblticket.date,
htblattachements.filename,
htblattachements.mediatype,
htblattachements.contentid
From htblticket
Inner Join htblnotes On htblticket.ticketid = htblnotes.ticketid
Inner Join htblattachements On htblnotes.noteid = htblattachements.noteid
Order By ID
</snip>

What I haven't been able to figure out is how to decrypt the stored attachments.

Is this published somewhere in the Database Documentation that I've overlooked?

Any help accessing these attachments without going through the Lansweeper application would be appreciated.

Dear JoeS,

The files are encrypted to prevent that they can be accessed if someone would be able to gain access to the folder structure.

For security reasons, we can't reveal anything on this unfortunately.
