I tried to manually start an auto update and now it's stuck just spinning saying "installing updates"... the update I eventually started manually and finished because it didn't appear that anything was actually happening.

It's still stuck even though the update is over, and the server has been rebooted...

What can I do to stop this?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Try manually install 12.5.0.7.

It checks MS SQL DB permissions and shows recommendations.

Hi @ntbattag,

Did Support manage to fix this issue? I have the same issue with my installation.

Dear Ntbattag,

There is an autoupdate service. Can you check if that is started and running?

Since this feature is still in beta, please log a case with our support team for that.

Same issue keeps aborting with following error message:  "The required files was not found in the database."  But no indication what the file is or where precisely it's looking for said file.

I had to turn Auto updates off and leave it off for it to stop.

I have updated my existing case and added this issue to my case notes.
