Methods for Managing Different Assets Sharing IP Addresses

We presently use Lansweeper for managing assets in our company, and I am searching for ideas on how to make our scanning procedure more successful. For assets that are different in terms of technology and location but have the same IP address; we have noticed repeated ads. Any suggested strategies and Lansweeper features that may help in more effective asset management and unique asset identification.
